Avg having trouble updating
This is totally unacceptable - why am I paying for something that I cannot use.
If not I will have to look at other antivirus installations.
This helps FDUBCD work on more systems, where previously issues may be encountered on systems with physical CDROM drives that are not supported by the DOS CDROM driver. As usual, you can download the latest version here. This release involves a major reorganization to the directory structure to achieve better isolation of UBCD-related files, as well as the addition/updates/removal of many apps in UBCD.
As usual, all included apps have been updated where possible. Along with the usual updates, the major change in this version is shifting the FDUBCD boot image and the associated DOS CAB files into its own ISO image, which is then launched using memdisk's CDROM emulation. This is probably going to be the last release for the V5.0.x series. After numerous false starts and even more betas, UBCD V5.0 is finally out.
I have AVG software installed for 1 year starting in Sept 2017 thru Sept 2018.
CPUstress has been updated to V2.3.3 (with thanks to Explorer09). It also includes Parted Magic for more reliable access to NTFS filesystems and USB storage devices.
You’ll be surprised how life-changing something so simple can be.
When I went to do a one step update Quicken wanted to do an update, so I OK'ed the update. Contact AVG to research and resolve the false positive recognition.

CPUstress has been updated to V2.3.6 (with thanks to Explorer09), along with other recent updates. I have finally bitten the bullet and upgraded the web forum to the latest version of php BB, dropping the m2f module in the process.
